A peaceful town in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, was shaken by a horrific incident as a suicide blast tore through a mosque during Friday prayers. This tragic event resulted in the loss of five lives, including a brave police officer, and left twelve others injured.


The blast occurred near the Police Station Doaba while worshippers gathered for their weekly Friday sermon. Sadly, the mosque's roof collapsed, trapping dozens of people under the rubble. A rescue operation is currently underway to save those still trapped.

Two suicide bombers were responsible for this heinous attack, with one near the police station's gate and the other causing the explosion in the mosque. Fortunately, twelve individuals were rescued and taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.


The caretaker of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chief Minister Azam Khan, has declared a state of emergency in all city hospitals and requested a detailed report on the blast from law enforcement agencies.

This tragic event marks the second terror attack in Pakistan, following a suicide blast in Balochistan's Mastung district that claimed 35 lives, including a police officer, and injured over 45 others. Pakistan has been facing a series of terror attacks recently, with Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa being prime targets for militants. Security forces are actively conducting operations against terrorists to eliminate the threat and restore peace in the country.
