Imam-e-Kaaba and President Alvi Discuss Palestinian Issue and Strengthening Bilateral Ties


  President Alvi Stresses Pakistan’s Commitment to a Just Resolution for Palestine

In a significant meeting with Imam-e-Kaaba, Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah Humaid, and Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, President Dr. Arif Alvi reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for a just and peaceful resolution of the Palestine issue. Emphasizing the importance of a two-state solution, President Alvi expressed concern for the Palestinian people, calling on the global community to recognize and address the pain inflicted by Israeli atrocities in Gaza, particularly on innocent civilians, including women and children.

Strong Bilateral Ties and Unity on Palestine: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia

During the meeting in Islamabad, President Alvi welcomed Imam-e-Kaaba, highlighting the robust and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, rooted in common faith, shared history, and people-to-people connections. Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah Humaid echoed the unanimous stance of the Muslim world on the Palestine issue, advocating for Palestinians’ rights through a two-state solution. The leaders discussed challenges in Gaza, Islamophobia, and other issues facing the Islamic world, emphasizing the need for collective efforts to end violence and atrocities in Palestine.

 Pakistan Commends Saudi Arabia’s Regional Initiatives and Unity Against Common Challenges

President Alvi commended Saudi Arabia for its recent normalization of relations with Iran, considering it a significant breakthrough for regional peace and stability. The President acknowledged Saudi initiatives for peace in Yemen, Syria, and Sudan, emphasizing the importance of unity among Muslim nations to address common challenges. Expressing gratitude, President Alvi thanked Saudi Arabia for its economic support to Pakistan, humanitarian aid, and contributions to development projects, particularly in education and healthcare.
