Massive Drug Seizure: Rs 5 Billion Worth Narcotics Found in Pakistani Goods in Malaysia


 1. Major Drug Bust in Malaysia: Pakistani Nationals Arrested

Malaysian authorities recently uncovered a significant smuggling scandal involving a Pakistani goods container initially transporting onions. The Customs and Narcotics Crime Investigation seized drugs worth Rs 5 billion, including over 100 kg of cocaine and 411 kg of Methenamine. Following the raid, five local suspects were arrested. Pakistani officials were alerted, leading to the swift arrest of two nationals involved in the operation, shedding light on the global nature of drug trafficking and the importance of international cooperation.

2. Global Collaboration Against Drug Trade: Malaysian-Pakistani Cooperation

The recent drug seizure in Malaysia highlights the global nature of drug trafficking. Malaysian authorities promptly informed Pakistan, leading to the arrest of local suspects. Buried at various locations, the narcotics, including 1740 kg of hashish, 28 kg of ice, and 20 kg of morphine, were traced back to Afghanistan. Taking a decisive step, the ANF set fire to the locations used for storing drugs after seizing the consignment. These actions highlight ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and the commitment to disrupting the operations of criminal networks involved in the illegal drug trade.
