Pakistan's Historic Lunar Mission to Launch This Friday


 Pakistan to Launch Its First Lunar Mission with ICUBE-Q Pakistan is set to make history in space exploration with the launch of its first lunar mission, ICUBE-Q, on Friday, May 3. The Institute of Space Technology (IST) announced that the satellite would be launched from Hainan, China, as part of China’s Chang’e 6 lunar probe. This mission represents a collaborative effort between IST, China’s Shanghai University SJTU, and Pakistan’s national space agency SUPARCO. The successful integration of ICUBE-Q with Chang’e 6 signifies a significant step forward for Pakistan’s space program.

 ICUBE-Q Satellite to Capture Lunar Images The ICUBE-Q satellite, designed by IST, is equipped with two optical cameras to capture detailed images of the lunar surface. After rigorous testing and qualification, it has been successfully integrated with the Chang’e 6 mission. This launch will be broadcast live on the IST website and social media platforms, allowing people to watch this historic event in real-time. Chang’e 6 is part of China’s lunar exploration series.
