Pakistan women's team squad announced for T20 Asia Cup; check the highlights…

Following a tough series against England, Nida Dar has retained her captaincy as Pakistan's women'snull cricket team prepares for the upcoming tournament in Sri Lanka. The team has seen significant changes, both in exclusions and additions.

Notable batters like Ayesha Zafar and Sadaf Shamas won't be part of the squad, alongside others such as Natalia Parvaiz, Rameen Shamim, Umm e Hani, and Waheeda Akhtar who have also been dropped.

Returning to the squad are players like batting allrounder Iram Javed, Omaima Sohail, and Syeda Aroob Shah, who bring experience from previous tours. Additionally, debutant Tasmia Rubab, a promising 22-year-old left-arm fast bowler, has been called up.

There have been recent coaching changes with Mohammed Wasim taking over as head coach, Junaid Khan as assistant coach, and Abdur Rehman as spin bowling coach.

The squad for the T20 Asia Cup includes Aliya Riaz, Diana Baig, Fatima Sana, Gull Feroza, Muneeba Ali, Najiha Alvi, Nashra Sandhu, Sadia Iqbal, Sidra Amin, Tuba Hassan, Tasmia Rubab, and Syeda Aroob Shah, led by Nida Dar.
