Empowering Youth: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's Vision for Pakistan's Future

 


On the International Day of Youth, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif laid out a transformative vision for Pakistan’s youth. During the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Sharif announced a series of initiatives aimed at equipping young people with essential digital tools, skills, and opportunities. 

Highlights include the formation of the Commonwealth Youth Alliance Secretariat in Islamabad to boost regional cooperation and the launch of a Digital Learning Portal to enhance educational delivery.

The new AI for Youth Programme will provide Intel-certified skills, while the Smart Youth, Smart Pakistan initiative promotes digital literacy. In an ambitious move, the government will distribute one million tablets and mobile phones to deserving students.

 Additionally, the National Volunteer Corps will encourage youth involvement in community service. Sharif’s commitment to youth development signals a new phase of progress, with a long-term policy set to be unveiled on August 14.
