Defence Day Observed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Honoring Pakistan’s Martyrs

 


On September 6, 2024, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa proudly observed Defence Day, paying tribute to the brave martyrs who fought for Pakistan's sovereignty in wars ranging from 1948 to the 1999 Kargil conflict.

 Governor Shah Farman led the ceremony at PAF Base Peshawar, where he highlighted the sacrifices made by these heroes, ensuring the nation’s future.

 Exhibitions showcased military aircraft like the F-16 and JF-17, paying homage to iconic figures such as Captain Karnal Sher Khan, who was posthumously awarded the Nishan-e-Haider. 

Defence Day reflects Pakistan’s history of resilience, and the unmatched bravery of its defenders, uniting the nation in strength.
