Strategic agreements between the United Arab Emirates and China to boost trade and advance the ‘Belt and Road’ initiative.

The UAE and China recently signed a series of strategic agreements during Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed's visit to China. This partnership enhances collaboration in areas like trade, technology, and investment, significantly boosting the Belt and Road Initiative.

The agreements include major sectors such as renewable energy, AI, green development, and tourism, showcasing the UAE's role as a global logistics hub and strategic partner. Bilateral non-oil trade reached Dh296 billion in 2023, underlining the economic impact of this relationship.

As both nations continue to invest in infrastructure and innovation, these agreements promise long-term growth and global business expansion, paving the way for deeper international cooperation.
