Title: Strengthening Pakistan-China Ties Through Energy and Petroleum Investments

Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Petroleum, Dr. Musadik Malik, has called on Chinese firms to invest in the energy and petroleum sectors during the Shaanxi-Pakistan Conference held at the International Expo in China. This move is aimed at boosting Pakistan’s economic infrastructure and fortifying ties with China. The focus of the conference was on enhancing Business-to-Business (B2B) collaborations, particularly in mining, energy, and technology sectors.

Significant projects like the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) were highlighted as pillars of this collaboration.

Notably, the Chinese firm RUYI plans to invest in solar-powered textile parks, projected to create 300,000 to 500,000 jobs. These investments not only promise economic growth but also underline the strong strategic partnership between Pakistan and China.
