PCB Firm on Hosting Champions Trophy 2025 Final in Lahore, Regardless of India's Participation

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is determined to host the Champions Trophy 2025 final in Lahore, even if India opts not to participate. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and COO Salman Naseer are actively preparing reports on Gaddafi Stadium's reconstruction, a project that involves a PKR 7 billion investment.

The PCB’s commitment to making Lahore the final venue remains strong, even with the likelihood of India’s games being moved to the UAE if necessary.

With Pakistan placed in Group A alongside India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, PCB is ready to showcase their top cricketing venues. Karachi will host a semi-final, and Rawalpindi will host five games, including the second semi-final. The ICC Board meeting in Dubai (October 18-21) is expected to address the logistics of India’s potential absence, but PCB's focus remains on providing a world-class experience for the final in Lahore.
