UAE Launches $100 Million Aid Campaign for Lebanon

In response to the growing crisis in Lebanon, the UAE has initiated a major humanitarian campaign titled "UAE With You, Lebanon." Under the guidance of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE is providing $100 million in humanitarian aid. The first of many shipments, a plane carrying 40 tons of essential medical supplies, took off from Al Maktoum Airport in Dubai, marking the UAE's swift response.

This humanitarian effort comes at a critical time for Lebanon, which is grappling with escalating violence and a deteriorating health infrastructure. The UAE’s assistance, coordinated with the World Health Organization (WHO), underscores the deep bond of brotherhood between the two nations and reflects the UAE’s ongoing commitment to global humanitarian efforts.

The campaign aims not only to provide immediate relief but also to reinforce the importance of solidarity in times of crisis. The UAE has pledged continued support, prioritizing assistance to vulnerable communities. This is just the beginning of a broader relief initiative by the UAE.
