UAE's Humanitarian Effort Collects 1,100 Tonnes of Aid for Lebanon

In an outstanding humanitarian initiative, Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan led a massive aid collection campaign at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The effort, part of the "UAE Stands with Lebanon" campaign, successfully amassed 1,100 tonnes of essential supplies, including food, medical aid, and shelter equipment, for the people of Lebanon.

This remarkable drive saw the active involvement of 2,287 volunteers from various sectors of society. With support from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the campaign also facilitated the dispatch of 13 relief planes, carrying 560 tonnes of vital aid to Lebanon, particularly benefiting women and children in need.

The initiative reflects the UAE's long-standing commitment to humanitarian causes, continuing the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. By addressing Lebanon’s urgent needs, the UAE has demonstrated its dedication to global solidarity and effective crisis management.
