IDEAS 2024: Showcasing Pakistan’s Defense Excellence

 


The 12th edition of IDEAS 2024 has commenced in Karachi, bringing together 55 countries and 560 exhibitors in a grand showcase of innovation and defense technology. This biennial event emphasizes Pakistan’s growing capabilities in defense production, featuring groundbreaking products like the Haider Main Battle Tank, Shahpar III UAV, and Al-Khalid Tank.

Turkey leads the international participation with 75 exhibitors, reflecting its strong ties with Pakistan. For the first time, countries like Iran and Italy are joining, demonstrating the exhibition’s global appeal.

A highlight of IDEAS 2024 is the Startup Pavilion, spotlighting young Pakistani entrepreneurs in AI and aerospace technologies. Organized by NUST and other institutions, it underscores Pakistan’s commitment to merging innovation with defense.

Beyond exhibitions, an international seminar on Pakistan’s defense production potential offers insight into the sector’s challenges and opportunities. IDEAS 2024 isn’t just a showcase; it’s a celebration of innovation and collaboration in defense.
