Pakistan and Belarus Strengthen Bilateral Relations with 15 Key Agreements
Pakistan and Belarus have marked the 30th anniversary of their diplomatic relations with the signing of 15 vital Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements during Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko’s visit to Islamabad. The visit highlighted the mutual commitment to enhancing bilateral ties through economic collaboration, industrial cooperation, and educational initiatives.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the significance of the agreements, particularly in trade, technology, and agriculture. One major development is the plan for joint production of agricultural machinery and fostering partnerships in the automobile sector.
Furthermore, the two nations signed a “Roadmap of Intensive Cooperation” for 2025-2027, focusing on science, education, and culture. Initiatives include research collaborations and student exchange programs aimed at enriching academic and cultural ties.
This visit and the resulting agreements underscore the potential of Pakistan-Belarus relations to grow as a strategic partnership, paving the way for a future defined by shared goals and mutual progress.
