Private Sector Importance for Pakistan-UAE Trade

According to Pakistan's Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan, the private sector is really important for furthering trade relations with the United Arab Emirates. According to him, the relationship between Pakistan and the UAE is pretty strong, mutually respectful, and goal-oriented. This is necessary because both are looking to grow their trade and investment opportunities.

Recently, Khan spoke to more than 100 guests at a gathering in Dubai, including Pakistani businessmen and officials from the Pakistan Consulate. The event was organized by the Pakistan Business Council to discuss ways to improve exports and strengthen trade ties. Khan said that the private sector plays a key role in these discussions and efforts.

Khan welcomed the newly elected board of the Pakistan Business Council. He feels the team's collaboration with the Pakistan Consulate will help push trade relations to new heights between the two countries. Business leaders and government officials should collaborate with one another to create new opportunities regarding trade and investments.

The minister acknowledged the contributions of the Pakistani community in the UAE. Their presence has played a significant role in fostering economic growth and strengthening ties between the two nations. Khan stated that the private sector is crucial for leading trade initiatives and investment strategies.

The UAE foreign ministry considers the UAE Pakistan's third biggest trading partner, after China and the United States. In two decades, more than $10 billion has been invested in Pakistan by the UAE, which can be considered proof of the role this partnership plays for economic development.

In essence, the private sector's role in ensuring improved trade with the UAE is highly important for the economy of Pakistan. Together, they can work upon trading relations and make more jobs along with exploring new markets to create a brighter economic future for both countries.
