UAE Introduces Five-Year Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa for Pakistani Nationals

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched a five-year multiple-entry tourist visa for Pakistani nationals, aiming to strengthen cultural ties and boost tourism between the two countries. This initiative allows Pakistani travelers to enter the UAE multiple times over five years, with each stay lasting up to 90 days, extendable for an additional 90 days per visit.

To apply for this visa, Pakistani applicants must provide several documents: a valid passport with at least six months' validity, a recent passport-sized photograph, a round-trip flight ticket, and proof of medical insurance covering their stay in the UAE. Additionally, applicants need to submit a bank statement from the past six months, demonstrating a minimum balance of $4,000 or its equivalent, to prove financial stability.

The application process is straightforward and can be completed online. Applicants can visit the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) website or the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) portal to submit their applications.

The introduction of this visa offers numerous benefits. For frequent travelers, it eliminates the need to apply for a visa before each trip, providing greater flexibility and convenience. Business professionals can attend meetings, conferences, and explore opportunities without the hassle of repeated visa applications. Families with members residing in the UAE can reunite more often, strengthening familial bonds.

Financially, the five-year visa is cost-effective compared to obtaining multiple short-term visas over the same period. It also allows tourists ample time to explore the UAE's diverse attractions, from modern cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi to cultural heritage sites and natural landscapes.

In summary, the UAE's five-year multiple-entry tourist visa for Pakistani nationals is a significant step towards enhancing tourism and cultural exchanges. By simplifying the entry process and offering extended stays, the UAE continues to position itself as a welcoming destination for travelers from Pakistan and around the world.
