UAE sets Guinness World Record with largest handprint flag
The United Arab Emirates has set a new Guinness World Record by creating the world’s largest flag made entirely of handprints.
The massive artwork features the handprints of over 24,000 participants from more than 100 nationalities, including a large number of Pakistanis, symbolizing a powerful message of unity and diversity.
Among the youngest participants was three-month-old Muhammad Mustafa Imran, whose tiny handprint was added by his father as part of a touching tribute to the UAE. His parents described it as a memorable gesture of love for the country that will one day make their son proud.
According to Khaleej Times, the historic flag, now displayed at the Pakistan Auditorium in Dubai, is composed of 24,514 handprints from people of over 100 nationalities. The project was launched by the Pakistan Association Dubai under the theme “Unity in Diversity”.
The initiative concluded with a celebratory event where attendees reflected on the significance of the artwork and the message it carries: “One flag, one message: unity in diversity.”
