Sahibzada Farhan is now the leading run-scorer of the World Cup

Pakistan’s aggressive opener Sahibzada Farhan has emerged as the top run-scorer of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 following a match-winning century against Namibia.

In a key match played in Colombo, Pakistan posted a strong total of 200 runs, powered by Farhan’s outstanding unbeaten knock. His innings helped put Namibia under pressure from the start.

Farhan scored a brilliant 100 not out off just 58 balls. He struck four sixes and 11 fours, showing excellent timing and confidence at the crease. His performance anchored Pakistan’s innings and set the tone for the match.

With this century, Farhan moved to the top of the tournament’s batting charts. He has now scored 219 runs in four innings, making him the highest run-getter of the event so far.

South Africa’s Aiden Markram is second on the list with 178 runs in four matches.

Cricket analysts praised Farhan’s consistency and attacking approach, saying his form could play a crucial role in Pakistan’s campaign as the tournament progresses.
